Disclaimer:
I have used this ROM on my Redmi Note 4 with Revolt Kernel because the stock kernel was giving me some issues with deep sleep.
I will divide this review in 2 parts pros and cons. Let's start with pros first.
The first thing that I liked about the ROM is its bootanimation its like countdown from 1-100 and then showing the franken face with ROM name something new to see. Once the phone boots up you are greeted with franken wallpaper which is decent.
The next thing I liked about the ROM was its launcher. The Franken ROM has pixel 3 launcher mod which supports icon packs and adaptive icons are applied properly masking each and every app.

The overall performance is good. Apps open up fast and animations are smooth. Gaming performance is great. Pubg runs with little framedrops on high settings.
Battery life is something I can't predict because I am using custom kernel. On revolt kernel I was able to get 8-10 hours easily during my usage. To know more about battery life wait for my video review.

Now its time for cons and I must say considering it is a first build the bugs are less but still there.
First bug:
You can't change the sim card colour in sim card settings thanks to Sabir Shaikh for informing about this but I feel it can be ignored.

I have encountered force closes during my usage the apps that were often force closing were YouTube vanced and ADM.
Third bug:
Video calling doesn't work with jio.
Fourth bug:
Actually its not a bug but you don't get camera and browser preinstalled.
Fifth bug:
On stock kernel I was encountering deep sleep issues so I decided to go with revolt kernel and the issue was fixed but after a day I saw that overnight I lost 16% of battery and then I checked deep sleep stats and it was not working.
But don't worry it can be fixed easily but before that what is causing this issue is
WiFi hotspot. So if you are using WiFi hotspot and if you turn it off after your usage the phone will not go to deep sleep and in order to fix it you need to turn your WiFi on and off on your phone and deep sleep will start to work.
Summing up my review Franken ROM is good ROM considering it is initial build I would recommend to wait for another build with some bug fixes till then you can check out Aim ROM https://youtu.be/isdzoI-q_uQ
