Let's start the review with customization of Candy Rom. You can find all the customization in the tab called candy shop in the settings. Under which you get system, lockscreen, status bar, navigation and stockroom. Let's us have a look at them one by one starting with system.
System:
Over here you get volume and power button customization also you can customize the power menu and notification lights and sounds.
Over here you get media options which includes ambient music ticker and media cover art. You also get sleep controls, auto face unlock, lockscreen items and godly torch which fixes the yellow light in the torch.
Over here you get usual clock, battery, network traffic, quick settings, statusbar items and double tap to sleep customization. You also get option to make heads up less annoying which is really handy and you also get notification ticker.
It includes all the navigation bar and hardware button customization.
In stockroom you get 4 sections which are multitasking, screen capture options, miscellaneous and in-call vibration options. In multi-tasking you get recents panel customization, gesture anywhere, alarm and wake-lock blocker. In screen capture you get three finger screenshot, screenshot sound and screenshot edit app. In miscellaneous you get pocket detection, headset customization and android p animation style. Under in-call vibration you get vibrate on connect, disconnect and call waiting.
Other features of Candy Rom includes fixed video calling and now the rom is based on treble. You also get smart pixels option in battery which is helpful in saving some amount of battery by decreasing you pixels.
Coming to performance of Candy Rom it was fun using the rom for a week there were no ui lags or frame-drops. Gaming performance was also great.
With such good performance you also get good battery life. I was getting nearly 10-11 hours of screen on time of WiFi usage.
